She has designed for Bebe Neuwirth, Kate Burton, and Alan Cumming, among other talented performers, and has taught master classes in design at Fordham University in Manhattan, as well as designed at several universities. She has a B.A. in theatre and psychology from Brown University and an M.F.A. from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
She lives in Manhattan with her husband, Jonathan Newman, a composer, their daughter Amelia, and 2 black and white cats.
